CH Gower's Scentimental Journey

Call Name "Journey"

Journey's gift is her incredible, powerful, effortless side gait. This is the gait that goldens were meant to have in the hunting field. All day effortless, powerful movement, easy for her to move over long distances and to maintain for long periods. Journey is a big moving and striding bitch. If you get lucky enough to see her move in a large ring or field it will catch your attention. Always. It is a strong, comanding and correct movement.

Journey is clean coming and going. Her top line is straight and her tail carriage is textbook off her back.

Journey has a nice front and beautiful shoulder layback. She is a large, doggie bitch with a huge head. She throws large applealing heads, correct structure, and tons of bone in her puppies.

Journey is NOT a flashy bitch. She is an honest, correct, strong working conformation golden.

Journey is a very easy girl. She is a snuggler. She is a low key dog who loves food and she will show for food all day long.

She loves to snort in my face and snuggle. She begins her nightly sleep on my chest, snuggling and sneezing into my neck. She then moves to the tile in the bathroom. At 4:45 am she performs her alarm clock role and resumes her position on my chest, thereby waking me up.

On our long walks off leash, Joe is the only dog I have who constantly runs back to check on me. I might be rounding a curve in the trail and there she is , eyes shining, as if to say, " you okay boss?" In a flash, she is gone, catching up with the others. A few minutes later, I see her staring at me from high above on a cliff.. She is the true companion golden.

She is my Joe, my sole mate, my reason for this dog journey that I am on. She represents the endearing golden personality that heals hearts, completes families, offers tons of love and boundless fun.
